PV panels for Bissariye Pumping Station were installed on plot of 950 m². 112 solar panels, 450 W each, were installed on a galvanized steel structure. Electrical connection divided the panel into 8 strings, each string contained 14 panel connected in series with a total voltage of 580 Volt DC. One solar pumping invertor (37 KW) was installed and connected one pump located 100 m away from the PV farm. Additional battery-based residential solar system was installed to supply electrical power to the pumping station services.
